These Terms of Service govern your use of convertios.com ("Convertios", "we", "us"). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

Convertios provides free online tools for converting, compressing, editing and generating files and text, including image, PDF, audio, video and utility tools. No account is required. We may add, change or remove tools at any time, and a tool may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance or high demand.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use Convertios only for lawful purposes. In particular, you must not:

• process files you do not have the right to use, copy or modify, including content protected by copyright or other rights;
• upload malware, or files intended to damage or overload our systems;
• use automated scripts or bots to send large volumes of requests to the tools or the processing server;
• use the Link Shortener to hide phishing, malware, spam or other harmful destinations;
• attempt to bypass upload limits, rate limits or security measures.

We may block access from addresses that abuse the service.

3. Your files and content

You keep all rights to the files you process. You are responsible for the content you submit and for keeping your own copy of the original. Most tools run in your browser, so your file never leaves your device. Server-processed tools (PDF to Word, Video Converter and Video to MP3) delete your file and its result automatically when the request finishes. The AI Image Enhancer and Link Shortener rely on third-party services as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Limits

Tools may have file-size, duration or format limits, which are listed on each tool page. Results depend on the source file: for example, converting a compressed JPG to PNG cannot restore detail that was already lost, and PDF to Word cannot perfectly recreate every layout.

5. Third-party services and ads

Convertios is supported by advertising from Google AdSense and uses services such as Google Analytics, Cloudflare, Render, Cloudinary and TinyURL. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or external websites, and your use of those services is subject to their own terms.

6. No warranty

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Always check results before relying on them, especially for important documents.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Convertios is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, files or profits, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or its tools.

8. Intellectual property

The Convertios name, logo, website design and written content belong to Convertios. Some tools use open-source libraries, which remain subject to their own licenses.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
