Fix sideways and upside-down pages
Scanners and phone scanning apps often save a page or two in the wrong direction, and reports frequently contain a wide table placed on a landscape page. Rotating fixes how those pages are displayed, so the document reads properly on screen and prints the right way up.
Rotating page by page
- After you open the PDF, every page appears as a thumbnail with its own Rotate button.
- Each click turns that page 90° clockwise. Click twice for an upside-down page and three times to turn a page 90° counter-clockwise.
- Only the pages you click are changed; all other pages stay as they are.
- The thumbnails update immediately, so you can check every page before downloading
rotated.pdf.
Lossless rotation
The tool does not redraw or re-scan your pages. It changes the rotation setting that every PDF page has, the same thing professional PDF editors do. Text and images are not re-rendered. Saving changes rewrites the PDF, so file size may change and cryptographic digital signatures may become invalid. Pages that were already rotated in the original keep that rotation, and your clicks are added on top of it.
